Artist & Owner of Wonder Moss

At Wonder Moss Studio, artist Robin Frey creates stunning, maintenance-free moss wall art that brings the beauty of nature indoors. Guided by the principles of biophilic design, Robin offers custom-designed pieces for commission while also showcasing a selection of ready-made creations available for purchase in her serene studio space.

Mary Hermans

Artist & Owner of Nexus Botanical Arts

Step into Nexus Botanical Arts, the studio boutique of folk artist Mary Hermans, where nature and creativity intertwine. From botanically dyed clothing and cyanotype accessories to handcrafted home décor, jewelry, and herbal apothecary items, Mary transforms responsibly sourced botanicals into artful treasures, all available for purchase in her inspiring space.

Artist & Owner of Mystic Pots 

At Mystic Pots Ceramics Studio, artist Layna Mattson brings her passion for form and texture to life through beautifully crafted functional and decorative pottery. In her creative space, Layna offers community workshops, a selection of ready-made ceramics for purchase, and the opportunity to witness the artistry behind her unique creations.

Randy Fernando and Joselyne Morcoho, Co-Directors of MOV.E | Creative Design Collaborative, blend architecture, technology, and fabrication to create immersive, site-responsive installations that explore our connection to both built and natural environments. Through a multidisciplinary approach that spans parametric design, digital media, and hands-on making, MOV.E invites communities to engage in meaningful, participatory experiences that inspire reflection, dialogue, and co-authorship of space.

Becca Singer

Artist 

In  her cozy creative space at The Lab, Becca Singer transforms Lake Erie beach glass, driftwood, rocks, and dried botanicals into heartfelt, one-of-a-kind art for the home. Her work blends upcycled charm with natural beauty, offering everything from custom signs and frames to ornaments and fiber art that reflect her love of learning and soulful craftsmanship.

Max Collins

Max Collins is an acclaimed photographer and artist. He is best known for creating artworks and installations by wheat-pasting images onto various materials and objects. During his time at The Lab, Max collaborated on many projects including the notable “Faces of Springville”, a community portrait art project.

Alisia Glasier

Alisia Glasier is an oil painter and muralist. She has installed numerous murals across Western New York and instructed people of all ages in the arts. While at The Lab, Alisia created a body of work about the experience of grief and loss titled “Absence”. She currently is the Public Art Coordinator at the Springville Center for the Arts.

Springville Center for the Arts: Springville Center for the Arts is a rural multi-arts center that actively engages people from our community, our region, and beyond through performances, exhibitions, education and other arts programs. As a catalyst for creative inspiration and development, Springville Center for the Arts encourages direct participation in the arts by all segments of our community. Our mission is to build a culture of appreciation for the arts in our area, transforming the surrounding rural communities. Our main facility serves as the hub for a wide range of programming including concerts, theater productions, gallery exhibits, workshops for all ages, internship and residency programs, children’s after-school and summer programs, and more.

 

Art’s Cafe: A collapsed building, rescued by a group of passionate citizens—this is the home of Art’s Café. Three floors, steeped in history, feature an artisan bakery and café, with a connected arts workshop, performance venue, fully accessible green roof, and artist residences. Art’s Café is about good, simple food – fresh produce grown by farmers we know and bread baked in the simplest of ways with the best possible ingredients.
